Moevenpick Hotel Frankfurt City

Stay here for 2 nights during a conference. hotel was clean and tidy with a good bathroom. room was quite cozy, but enough space for a few nights. the hotel was not great in the bar and in the restaurant. In fact, it was a total sweat. the service was soouo slow to supply 2 club sandwiches and 2 drinks. the personal was also unfriendly and cold. we decided to give the bar another attempt at the following evening (at dinner elsewhere), and it was almost 20 minutes to serve, although no one else waits. if they can fix this, the hotel would get a higher rating.

I spent a few weeks before I chose the movenpick hotel for a family trip to frankfurt. I'm almost 65 with a heavy medical service, so I was glad to have it right across the street of skyline plaza shopping center. the breakfast buffet in the hotel's restaurant was perfect for the day and 1/2 that I was not medically able to leave the hotel. I can't eat most food, so I was glad to see that they were many different things that I could choose to eat.

The one they want in a hotel is a decent night sleep and that seems hard to come in this hotel. I traveled well over 100 nights in the year and can not remember worse beds everywhere. the bed is a couch foundation in the round. a **** top that is less than 5cm thick. think of backpack air mattress, but less comfortable. Moreover, the room was incredibly warm, although the thermostat was set to the lowest. the only way to cool the room was to open the window and then handle the considerable road noise. the breakfast was in the average not to describe the personal. in short, if they sleep a good night somewhere else.

In any case we went for the buffet, not the hot diner was hot, it was only warm. it was not very inspiring, the dishes were very disappointing and the service was very bad.

Stayed here in March 19 and had a fab stay. Bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, and breakfast was very good too. Staff super nice and accommodating.
