Il Forno Pizzeria - Frederick

I'm going to visit again but for now this is my feeling on it. Appetizers were perfect (bread sticks, cheese curds). Ordered 2 pizzas and one of crusts was a little more charred than I would have liked and wasn't much crisp to the bottom. They were very busy so I'm attributing it to that fact. Flavor was on point for everything, just that minor crust issue for me. . Excited to try it again when they aren't so busy. 1 star off on service because you shouldn't have people

Genuinely one of the worst meals I?ve had in a long time. A steak and cheese was ordered, when opened I realized it had quarter cuts of tomatoes. Which okay I can pick this off no big deal, then I realized oh there?s also spinach. I soon came to realize this was not spinach and just lettuce so old the color had gone dark?The fact that the chef literally saw how bad the lettuce was and chose to still put it on the sandwich is not something I?m sure I could ever understand.

Looking for a home cooked delicious Italian meal without going through the trouble of making it yourself? Il Forno?s never disappoints! Consistent, fresh authentic meals every time. Warm staff, super accommodating and make you feel at home! Thank you for being our getaway oasis! By the way Anthony was spectacular and never short on attention to detail and making sure all of your needs are met!

Excellent service and delicious food at this pizzeria/bar gets a rare 5 star. If you haven't ate here you have to try it!

Hit em on a good day when Josh is behind the bar and you're in luck. Il Forno has decent Pizza, Wings and some of pasta dishes like Mama's homemade. Forno's is primarily a Pizza Joint restaurant but they do have a bar as well which attracts locals and couples on occasion to watch sports. Not a martini bar or top shelf brands but in general most drinks are well-made especially when Josh is mixing. And some of the waitresses are bright and attentive as well. Overall decent quick
