The food was ok. The service was good but the food was slow. They were busy when we were there so I don't know if this is normal. The atmosphere was really bad to me. It was very Loud with no ambiance. I won't be returning.
Pelican Cafe is a good straight-up breakfast place, based on what my wife and I ordered and compared to our other favorites. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict, which she said was tasty and perfectly cooked. I ordered the breakfast tacos with scrambled eggs and bacon. The picante sauce needed help with a couple of shots of Cholula to provide any flavor. The friendly and homey service were wonderful but our favorites like Snooze and First Watch still come out ahead. We’ll probably be back when we’re in the area but there’s a lot of more attractive competition nearby.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free bread is available.
We were a group of 6 with 2 children! Everything was great and we will go back again.
One of the most memorable breakfast moments of my dining out life! ? The corned beef hash with eggs were divine along with the potatoes they came with, I ate every single bite! ? And the egg salad sandwich with bacon was delicious and crispy as well!
