First Round Draft Grill - Frisco

Either this place is RACIST or Chad is. I came in here literally straight from home with zero drink in me at 11:50pm. Chad said “I saw you pull around and drive a straight way, I don’t feel comfortable serving you” lol. I was dumbfounded. The dude said, you can come back tomorrow… the condescending attitude. You lied on me with straight face! And I think the manager was seating watching it unfold. If I reacted, I’ll just be another black man over reacting? Smh. This is my first review of any establishment. Chad you must be happy. Hope your proud of yourself!

Nice and polite service from the staff. I’ve gotten to know the owner who also cooks. Very genuine people. Can be a little roudy when the local sports teams are on, but otherwise its chill. The jukebox is cool, variety in music, good or bad. Prices are fair and have specials on some days. No happy hour, but Shiner is always cheap and do have certain drink specials. I really like living close to here, it fits a good community vibe and not a touristy or gimmicky bar. NFL Sunday ticket is a great feature here as well.

I brought my brothers and his friends here (ages between 21-24). My brother said the server was rude to them, as soon as my brothers sat down the server said I am very busy tonight so you better place your order now or wait a long time , but completed a whole 360 when adults came (just 10 mins later), then he was suddenly very available and charismatic. My brother thinks that maybe the guy thought they are just kids who have no money and no tip to give, so when the older people came, the guy suddenly became nicer. Food is okay, alcohol is okay. Would come back but will probably request for a different server.

Cool atmosphere. Good music. Great drink selection. Servers seemed to be running around and not always paying attention to tables. Sometimes took awhile to get another drink.

This establishment was open during Christmas Day 2021 but refused to let one of the members of our party in due to her recently provisioned valid TX driver’s license ID picture showing “black white” under their UV light scanner. They stated the picture had to be “color” and not black white. What a disgrace and unfortunate turn of events on a wonderful Christmas 2021 evening. There are other businesses in the area that are more than happy to serve customers, especially during Christmas Day. In fact, we were served at another establishment closeby without any issues or Driver’s License “errors.” Please do not waste your time here.
