That was fine but then I ordered the mussels with linguine (white sauce and it was completely tasteless; I’m not a person who needs a lot of sodium, but it tasted like raw noodles it had no taste. I thought fine I’ll try something else. Then I tried my wife’s linguine (red sauce that accompanied her calamari, and it tasted like Ragu which was even worse. On the plus side, the service was phenomenal.
The food is just okay. I wish I could give this place a 2.5 rating. I ordered Chicken Romano. When my food came to the table the waiter said Chicken Marsala. Corrected her knowing very well. That's not what I ordered and she said oh no this is how we make our Chicken Romano. Which in fact she gave me the wrong order. But at this point I refuse to turn away the food. The chicken was nicely cooked. Had a wonderful crust on the outside smothered in Marsala sauce with mushrooms. (Not chicken Romano) it was served with a side of linguine with red sauce. The linguine was overcooked. The red sauce is acidic. Absolutely no flavor, no seasoning, there's no love put into it. It tasted as if they opened a can of tomatoes and put it on top of mushy linguine.
Warning you right now that the food here is terrible. If you go there, just know that I warned u
Got take out for six on New Year's Eve. Food was ready for pickup on time and
Great but pricey food; easy parking. Seemed to have a waiter in training my friend I dined with had particular financial constraints and asked questions about prices of certain items to which the waiter rolled his eyes...how not to make a good tip. This is a service industry; if you can't provide service without eye rolls, go train for some non service position somewhere else.
