Our family had lunch in darlene. we ordered cajun garnelen, kokos garnelen and garnelen garlic. we sat on the benches. the order came after 15 minutes. 10 large wildly caught cloves, very hot, slightly baked, crispy outside, fresh and delicate inside. the application came with 2 hush puppies that were perfectly spiced. they were all delicious, our favorite was the garlic garnel! highly recommended!
We went to Darlings Shrimp Shack today! I highly recommend. I've ordered a lot of fried shrimp in my life and this is by far the best. You will not be disappointed
This has been my favorite place to eat in Galveston since I moved to Houston a few years back. Every time we drive down to the beach, we stop for an order of lemon pepper and an order of coconut. I’ve had garlic parmesan in the past, and it was delicious… however I can’t say whether or not it’s still on the menu. My partner and I just picked out our faves and stuck with em. The portions you get are well worth the price. I’ve probably been here 20+ times and not once have I ever left disappointed. I think it just keeps getting better. If you’re worried about the cheap fishy taste some “fresh seafood” places have, fear not. The shrimp are always fresh and generous in size. The location is cute and relaxed as well, definitely a chill vibe. Would rate higher if I could.
I got coconut shrimp, French fries and a drink. The shrimp was crunchy, not soggy, and had a great flavor. I do love eating here just be prepared to spend about $20 per person, it's so worth it though!
