Good Eating Kitchen - Gaston

Flew in town for a training; im not even from here. This restaurant came up on google and of course I was nervous.I ordered the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and the potatos as my side. Im from Louisiana and im giving this five stars. It tasted like the food I have back at home. It was so fresh and flavorful I was highly impressed. The cornbread was clearly made from scratch and was sweet and buttery but not too sweet and was soft as hell. I wish I had known about this before Thursday bc I would’ve came earlier in the week when choosing my lunch. Definitely recommend. I wish I could get her recipe for the cornbread, the potatos and Mac n cheese!!!

The owners are very nice. The restaurant area was clean and the food was delicious! They give you plenty of food portions for a fair price. I went inside to order with my 9 month old in tow and the owner's son was nice enough to carry my food out to my car for me. They will be seeing more of me because I live not too far from the area, they felt like family and the food was worth every dime!

This food blew all my expectations, the service was nice, the lady could tell me and my friend were new and helped us out, will definitely be coming back, great price for a plate

Since my family and I descovered this place we are very greatful, my kids adore the pineapple coconut cake, is a truly delicious, keep it that way!!! My congrats to that family business!
