When the order was received, the owner stopped us directly and said we should wait and not order too much at once! We are good eaters and have ordered yet, for people with less blessed appetite, but this is certainly helpful to know. The owner is an absolute original and has made the evening together with the tasty tapas and desserts a successful adventure! And all this in GE what do you want more!? ; note because for me important: toilets top clean!
Das Pulpo en Tigges wird liebevoll von Ute und ihrem Mann geführt. Der Service ist hervorragend, immer zuvorkommend und die Tapas sehr lecker. Wir lieben ja die Salzgarnelen, dazu ein Salat, vorher Alioli und als Nachspeise Eis an heißen Feigen in, ich glaube es ist Calvadossoße, flambiert. Lecker, , lecker The Pulpo en Tigges is lovingly run by Ute and her husband. The service is excellent, always courteous and the tapas are delicious. We love the brine shrimp, plus a salad, alioli beforehand and ice cream for dessert with hot figs in, I think it's Calvados sauce, flambéed. Yummy yummy
We ate very well and drank. The service is friendly and the restaurant makes a very good and clean impression. The bill of approx.90 € for two people has been a bit cheerful for Gelsenkirchen City. A liqueur or similar at the end of the house would have been nice.
The food was as always very delicious. But we found the prices a little high. Everything is now a bit expensive, the gastronomics also remember and attract the prices. We had a nice evening and good food, so we liked to buy the higher prices. The service was very nice and accommodating. The ambience is now not the latest and modern, but rather rustic. But that didn't bother us. I think the regular customers don't mind. Clear recommendation!!! The food was delicious as always. But we found the prices a bit high. Soil-based Spanish restaurant where you can eat very well! We had only ordered tapas, but they were all very delicious! The service was very nice and the ambience was also as you would expect it to be rustically furnished! All in all, I can only recommend this place!
