The fish was good, but served with Brussels spits (so tough I could not cut with a steak knife and potatoes without taste). We got no choice of vegetables. Have eaten here so often in the past. Loved the sweet potato casserole and pot roasts, Swiss steaks etc. the menu is missing in good selection. So disappointed. Looks like we lost another favorite dining place. I'm sorry this happened. After a discussion, this seems to be a common opinion.

Unbelievable food. Friendly service! I took my mother and sister here for the first time I ever sung in the Florentine. Our server was very friendly and regularly checked for us. After my first experience, I was addicted. I must be here at least once every two or three weeks. Every time I was in the Florentine, my food was cooked to perfection, and the service was great. In any case, this small town recommend historic restaurant to anybody looking for a beautiful place to with family, friends, or someone for this matter!
Rude people. I ate in the Florentine and found everything very satisfactory. I'm working in a restaurant, and does anyone think about how to raise their server? When I approach a table when a customer is rude at hallo and is as honest as a lamp post, it makes it very difficult to have any form of conversation, so I think that makes me a terrible personality? It is very difficult to keep smiling friendly to people who grunt as answer to a question, get angry because it's pepsi not coke (or vice versa), or we don't have the taste/brand of alcohol/wine that they want, and never say thank or please. And if we are not sure how something can be cooked, should we ask the customer or lie? I'm just trying to say that the consumer really needs to think about how they treat their server before they make snapshots. We work hard for you, and for our money, and unfortunately as you, sometimes we do not feel good or had a day/morning/night, that was HORRIBLE, and a friendly smile and how you do? makes us as good as you. We're not in this industry because we're unintelligent... we're doing it because we need a job... so please don't treat us like uneducated curls.
We had a blast at The Florentine! Our server, Kali, took SUCH great care of us. The food was a bit pricey, but SO good. We loved the fun decor. You have to try the desserts: they're to die for! My only suggestion: have a dessert sampler because we wanted to try them all!
