Sharkbites - Gili Islands

I really liked the fact there was gluten-free bread on the menu. I ordered the chicken coconut curry and the hand cut fries/chips. They were both really tasty and cooked right. I was satisfied after my meal. I would highly recommend Shark Bites to friends or family when traveling to Gili Air. I'll definitely be back.

Best coconut curry I have ever had. And the local Bali beer Salaca wheat was delicious. The curry was so good I went back and got it again. Had to take a picture, but I will dream of this curry for awhile. Also got some potato chips the second time which were delicious. Recommend the spicy mayo dipping sauce to go with them.

The restaurant occupies an enviable view of Lombok which you can enjoy on its pristine beach. The restaurant area itself is clean and the service, unlike most restaurants, is excellent and timely. The waiters here seem to be ahead of the curb when it comes to local hospitality. In fact, as far as Gili Air restaurants go, the food is great for the price you pay. There’s a nice variety of food suitable for many diets, although you may need to take a careful look at the menu to understand what you’re ordering.

I visited the restaurant nearly every day when I stayed there in December 2022. I can't praise enough the great food quality and the outstanding professional and friendly service. The cocktails are good as well : See you next time!

This is the only place you can get a real good beer on Gili Air. There are more than 20 beers on the menu, some from small local breweries. They are a little more expensive but worth it. The burgers and chips are really good too and the staff friendly and helpful. Will always come back here whenever I am on Air!
