Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónCan wait a bit when it gets busy BUT that is because what they serve is top class. Always fresh and perfectly cooked. They would be hard pressed to find fish and chips. My only criticism that you need a bigger kitchen!
They had searched for a fish burger and fled from the bungalows, so they got the burger without the rolls and included chips and a coke. Lives the Hoki and fantastic chips I think the best chips I have tasted so far in Gladstone
You can buy delicious fish n chips from a van parked next to the Gladstone Fish Market. It is called the Gladstone Fish Market Hot Box (GFMHB). Of course they offer an excellent selection of fish (Coral Trout, Sweetlip, Red Emporer, etc. and other types of seafood. Although an order for broken Coral Trout costs $25, I was surprised and impressed by the very large fillet in each of our napkins. In addition, the fish was perfectly cooked, with crispy golden dough. Although there were three employees, and only eight customers (4 pairs), it took an exceptionally long time for our order around 30 minutes. The tables and chairs in the customer's dining area also needed wiping as they all still had the chaos of former diners. Since the staff was clearly busy, we asked for paper towels and cleaned the table and chairs themselves. It wasn't a big deal for us, but several other customers decided not to dinate there as soon as they get their order. This was the only drawback of our visit, and something that the GFMHB owners can improve with a small employee training. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially if they often serve customers who cannot decide what to order. Overall, I gave Gladstone Fish Market 5 stars because the quality of their seafood is quite simple, excellent.
Wow. What a jewel. The dough is so thin, golden and crisp that I was astonished as good it was. The fish was beautiful and flocky, yarn was massive and juicy, chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the bow is so soft and tender. The seafood box for one is a great way to taste a bit of everything. We also tried the Calamari and potato scallop and was a little disappointed as the Calamari was a bit chewing and the potato scallop was too thick, so it was a little rough in some parts. Nevertheless, the fish and chips that are amazing would still come back.
The fish was fantastic well cooked and moist, the chips very tasty. Will be back
