Been here a few times for dinner and everything is usually very good however, had lunch on Saturday and to be honest it was very disappointing, the service was poor and the food was average! The restaurant was very busy with only 2 members of staff tending the restaurant and the bar

Booked for Steak meal with wine -Sunday 5.30 Service was brisk and efficient Meal was excellent, hand cut chips, mushrooms, steak was cooked to our different taste and was very good. The wine was a lovely Merlot which was quoted at £18 on menu Overall a great deal for £28 for 2 ......recommended

A nice Mother's Day lunch. The Irn Bru fish supper was the best of all the courses!

Fourth time of eating here and overall pleased. Drinks service however is poor. Table next to us never got their second drink despite ordering it twice. Our bottle of red wine took 15 minutes to arrive and was cold. The food however is very good and tasty with big portions. The lamb, venison and fish are particularly good. Will visit again and hope the drinks service improves.

The meal was really good, but the service was very poor. People arrived after me and were given a menu before me, I waited a long time and then had to finally ask. The impression given was that nobody knew what they were doing.
