The salmon with Champagne sauce was delicious. All entrees come with either rice or potato of the day, veggies and soup or salad. Excellent soups. Delicious wine and cakes, too. The food was awesome. All 4 of us would go back again. The quiche, hamburger, cod sandwich and beef and celery entrée were enjoyed, as was a big slice of chocolate mousse cake! Thanks. We're looking forward to our next visit.
Friendly, tasty, busy. A reservation is recommended. At 55 years-old, I felt young, so maybe not a good fit for kids though my 15-year-old enjoyed it. Jennifer knew the menu well and made good suggestions. Dietary restrictions: Good awareness of allergens when asked about content. This is an extraordinary find!!! A cozy intimate restaurant in Glencoe with the best food you can imagine and a staff that caters to you like family. We have had the butternut squash soup (best I've ever had) crisp fresh Caesar salad, delicious Amish duck and fabulous lamb shanks. Jennifer was such a helpful and friendly server and Michael the owner is so wonderful you feel like you've come home. We feel like we're eating at a beautiful cafe in Europe. Eating here is like being on a romantic vacation.
