I purchased a voucher for a 3 course meal for two. On walking into the restaurant, we were greeted by friendly staff. I thought that they may be busy on a Friday night, but only 3 other tables were occupied. The meal was quite nice,...More
We bought a Groupon deal, it turned out to be a very nice meal and most certainly value for money.Had it not been a Groupon I would have to say it would have been overpriced. We both had steak and it was very nicely cooked and tender, very nice dinner. The service, in my opinion, needs polishing and this is only constructive criticism as there are so many restaurants in Glenelg you need to be on your toes.We had a dips plate starter an there were three dips, the waiter just put them down and said enjoy. I really expect to know what they are, so many places do not run through dips when they bring them out. Surely it's not hard to point at each dip and tell us what they are, we think we guessed two of the three.....The service was a bit poor, not sure if they were new in the job but definitely need some training. Would love to see this place do well and they have the food just need the professionalism at service.Don't let any of this out you off as it is a great spot away from the large crowds of Glenelg and it's perfect for a walk after.
We had a great meal with a Groupon offer in May. the restaurant wasn't busy but it still had a great atmosphere. Very relaxing food was great - I can definitely recommend the Steaks which come with some of the best chips I have ever had.
Great way to start the weekend with a great breakfast and coffee overlooking a fantastic view of the Pat and Buffalo only interrupted by MAMILs (Middle aged men in lycra) riding past.
