Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe popped in for some appetizers and a couple of beers before catching our train. The Imperial Wit was excellent, and the half-Wit was enjoyable as well. The chicken fingers and pulled pork sliders were great snacks to pair with the drinks. It’s a lovely spot with friendly service, delicious food, and good beer! I’ll definitely be back in the future.
The beer was fantastic, and the server was incredibly friendly. However, their attention fluctuated from being overly attentive at the beginning to almost nonexistent by the end of our visit. The biggest letdown was the food. It felt like most of it was microwaved or reheated, particularly the pretzel, cornbread, brisket, and vegetables. I would return for a drink, but not for a meal.
I then tried the Imperial Wit beer, which tasted good at first but gave me a terrible headache shortly after—an odd and unpleasant experience. My wife ordered salmon, but it was raw in the middle and needed to be sent back to be cooked properly. I ordered a pizza that was somewhat tasty but tragically burnt on the bottom. Since I was very hungry and didn’t want to send it back, I ate it anyway, though it was not enjoyable. My wife also ordered an apple cobbler that came with uncooked dough and had to be returned. Raul, the manager, refused to remove the cobbler from our bill but did take off the Martini. I didn’t feel it was worth arguing about that, but then Raul approached our table and told us, “You know, you guys have caused a lot of trouble for us tonight. We aren’t high-end here.” Wow, really? I’ve never had a restaurant staff member, let alone a manager, talk to me like that. It was shocking for Raul to insult us over the poor quality of food and drinks he served us. If it weren’t for Raul’s rude comment, I might have let everything slide, but now I feel obligated to write this one-star review. It’s important for others to know how terrible our experience was and to steer clear of this place. Raul could greatly benefit from some lessons in manners and customer service. With Yard House, which has excellent food and drinks, right down the street at the Glen, there’s really no reason to visit Ten Ninety. The only positive aspect of our visit was Sophie, our waitress, who was outstanding. If she were the manager, I’m sure our experience would have been vastly different.
The atmosphere was relaxed, and the selection of beers was excellent. What stood out most was the wonderful customer service; they really took care of us. They even brought water for our dog during our second round of drinks, which we greatly appreciated.
The staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is that the beer didn’t really impress me, but overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely return.
