Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónUnassuming looking, but Superb food. We dropped in for tea, and were met by the friendly team there. We had chilled wine, full main course meals, followed by coffee. Total cost under £25. The food was excellent quality, Medhet the Manager couldn’t do enough to ensure we had an excellent meal. The view over the harbour was great, all in all a brilliant place to eat. Can heartily recommend.
Waiter was very friendly. The menu is varied so plenty to choose from. My partner and I had the meatball casserole and chicken madras curry and both were very good. If you are going for drinks they don't have a huge amount of beer however they do have a very good cocktail list. Friendly cat also included
The place is very charming and food is ok but if you want to work on your laptop and stay for the afternoon is not a great place. The staff won't let you in peace and will come to you every 5 or 10 mins to check if you have finished with whatever you are eating or drinking, although the restaurant was empty. As a person that has worked on the trade, this is not great customer service. Unless that this is the style of the place and is us that we are not used to so much attention.
I didn 't 'hate ' this place but I was so disappointed with the food quality and the rather below average service. In particular, my food could not have been checked by the chef(! before leaving the kitchen. On receiving its replacement the quality was still less than reasonable. The premises and location were attractive but badly let down by the items described above.
I asked their softest meat and ordered antrikot.. Medium.. What I received was cooked very well done. And Hard.. They have lesser staff then they are supposed to have.. I asked small fork for my 3 yr old daughter.. 3 times.. Rest was ok..
