Yong Fu - Gorey

It's six years since I last stopped off at the Yong Fu takeaway in Gorey. The last time in my review I rated it terrible on TripAdvisor. In 2016, I ordered the Peking Hot and Sour Soup €3.80) and a bag of chips €2.50). This time around on Monday 16 August 2021 I ordered the same soup €4) chips €2.50). I now rate the food I got to be average. While, in my opinion, the soup was a bit on the watery side, it was nice and tangy and loaded with spices. The chips, while cooked from frozen were just about adequate.

I had a fantastic experience at this Chinese takeout restaurant on Esmond Hill. The salt and chili shredded chicken starter was delicious, especially when paired with the satay chicken skewer. The fried rice for €11.50 was enough for two people. Highly recommended!

Very tasty curry delivery in a friendly and efficient manner. Will definetly be eating from here again .

My husband and i ordered a take away from here. It was delivered promptly and the food was lovely. I would recomend this place to anyone.

One of the worst ones we've had, the duck had mostly fat and gristle, the sweet and sour had hardly any chicken, overpriced goup!, we wont be back.
