The restaurant came highly recommended. Was here for dinner with a friend, a Thursday night, but still I'd say booking is almost essential to secure your seats. There are limited options for non-meat eaters, I did hesitate to try the cauliflower steak (which I kind of regret) and went with the halloumi burger instead. The burger was nice, lots of favours that didn't conflict with each other, but unexpectedly the skin-on French fries absolutely stole the show and I would rank them at god-tier. Freshly fried to the temperature just right, not oily, well seasoned yet not too salty. We were offered some complimentary pieces of bread and butter, was nice though beware the bread could be difficult to bite into. Good range of drinks available. Wish I had time to go back and see what their take on the cauliflower steak was like. Staff were reasonably friendly.
Good location near the city centre. Service is great and the food is always good. Prices are on average compared to similar restaurants. Spacious. A busy environment on days with many people, but usually quiet and cozy. Could recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat in a good, refined and cozy restaurant with a touch of France in the heart of Gothenburg.
It was a great place to get oysters and lobsters in the stomach. You can taste the lobster, and the oysters are so fresh, and also good wine, a recommended place for everyone wants to have good seafood.
French cuisine in its best, read Copieus quantities of butter, but it is so good and worth the extra workout as a result. Do not miss the mussels with frits their stack shell. Leventine Burger is gourmet, taste is fantastic, good to know if you can pick it up you can't put it down, it's like Jenga Tower material, just hold tight and eat it. The staff is really nice. One of our favorites has something to celebrate restaurant in GBG.
