Been to this buffet many, many times (weekly basis). Offers a terrific variety and always gets the bus loads. Have been there at Xmas and New Years and I want to say this establishment gives back to the community through a community dinner. They are a valued Grand Forks business player and I respect them. A group of us go every week and I have never been disappointed. Food is awesome. Serves both buffet and individual dishes, also eat in or take out.
Good Chinese food. Lunch and supper buffets are good. Take out and deliver available. Staff friendly.
Only place open in Grand Forks on Christmas Day! We were travelling through to the Kootenays so stopped to get lunch.Friendly service and food better than expected. No buffet - all a la carte. Waitress could have been a little more accommodating with supplying serving spoons for the dishes as we shared- all other patrons appeared to eat their own individual dish.Overall filled our bellies nicely on Christmas Day!Thank you.
We went there for dinner just after 7, a little late as the town looked dead but this restaurant was still open. They had buffet so we grabbed some plates and tried to sit down to enjoy our meal. Lots of their food was dried out, but we did not want fast food so we tried it.The chow mein was hard and crusty from sitting in the hot dish for so long, the chicken balls and won ton soup was undercooked. The won tons were pink inside. We got up to leave and say we'd pay for the pops we had gotten, but the food was not good and not fully cooked. The lady immediately walked to our table and picked up two spoons and started dissecting the food we told her was undercooked to show us it wasn't, when in fact it was. Another gentleman who worked there was right there as well and started talking in another language right in front of us as we were trying to tell them it wasn't cooked. They were very insistent on the fact it was fine (I'm visibly 7 months pregnant, not a chance I'm eating raw meat), and ended up just giving them money for the pops and leaving. Not once did we receive an apology.
