Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI am not a Hawaiian place, but I have lived a bit in oahu, and hawaiian food eaten all the time. their chicken catsu and bbq short ribs were legit! this place is impressive, even the Mac salad (which I feel is almost a miss) was tasteful. if we were to live closer together, I would have liked to try her Kalua-Pork. next time we're in the opposite.
I love hawaiian tropix. there is no better place to enjoy pho than on hawaiian tropix. it's just the best thing about customer service, we went regularly when we lived in orchard mesa. I was greeted with a friendly hallo and exact delivery of my order. then we moved out of the state. the owner reminded me about 1 year later and said she felt bad that we stopped coming. it was just because we were 18 hours away. when visiting back, we would make sure we turn on for phophony. I was amazed that the owner remembered. the waitresses we had were excellent. this type of service we have not found anywhere. I feel good to support this hard working family and their team.
The spam sushi is great. I'll order it every time I get to the future. I have to try.
Not open on Mondays. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl meal w/ fries&drink, the chickens not breaded thankgod), with rice and shredded cabbage. also, got chicken burger meal w/fries&drink also not breaded), lettuce, tomatoes, the bun is bigger, lighter and fluffy, way better than the ordinary bun. also got 2 orders of chicken musabi $5for2) $32
We ordered the loco moco, chicken teriyaki bowl, pineapple coconut smoothie and their hot and sour and egg drop soup. It was nothing spectacular. The loco moco was bland and soups were cold. We didn’t eat the soup in fear of food poisoning. Since we didn’t know how long they had been sitting out not at proper holding temperatures. The most edible thing we ordered was the chicken teriyaki. The marinated dark meat chicken was decently sauced. It would have been nice if they served it with more veggies besides just steamed cabbage. Don’t expect much from the counter service person either. When I asked her if the teriyaki chicken was dark meat or white meat chicken she looked at me and condescendingly responded….”it’s chicken?” Like I was the dummy for asking. Which honestly I might have had a dumb moment thinking she knew the difference. Either way… not worth the detour into town from I-70. We were so hopeful because of the good reviews. Lesson learned. Don’t trust reviews in Junction.
