Delicious Vanilla Latte! Only wish you were closer to my home! Service was friendly and helpful even when super busy!
One of my favorite lattes ever...their yam one in winter.. so good.
Had a cup of coffee and breakfast here multiple times to get the day moving and loved every time. No, like for realsees... if I'm in Grand Rapids again I know I want to be camping somewhere near this place, specifically. Mad Cap Coffee down in Grand Rapids, Michigan, well, let me tell ya, it's somethin' else. You walk in, and that aroma, man, it grabs you like a long-lost friend. Sets the tone for the whole day, let me tell you. Now, them breakfast treats, they're a real piece of work. Ain't just good, they're downright exquisite, and they look like somethin' out of a dream. You can tell they put love into every bite, and it's a breakfast I ain't gonna forget anytime soon. But Mad Cap ain't your regular joint. No siree. They got this coffee flight thing goin' on. It's like a journey for your taste buds, an adventure right there on your plate. You taste different beans, each with its own story to tell. It's edumacational, a whole lotta fun, and it'll kickstart your day like nothin' else. And I'll tell you, it ain't just the coffee and pastries that make Mad Cap special. I bumped into some fine folks who were fans of the Van Andel Scramble show with Billy Strings. We had a real hoot, sharin' stories and chewin' the fat about the show. It's them unexpected connections that make a place like this feel like home. But the icing on the cake was when I got to snap some pictures with these newfound pals. We bonded over our love for the music, and it was a real treat, man. Mad Cap Coffee, it's more than just a coffee shop; it's a place where coffee, community, and memorable moments all come together, like a song that sticks with you for a long, long time.
This is a great coffee shop, albeit a bit pretentious. The baristas seem very knowledgeable and skilled. The coffee and pastries seem to be of very high quality. The building is awesome inside and out. The presence of two bathrooms is highly convenient. The bathrooms are also clean and have nice soap. The customer base is very much of a certain type of person, more so than other coffee shops. By that, I mean quite wealthy or pretentious. You should not, however, feel unwelcome. Just prepare to be the only one wearing sweatpants on a weekday if you do choose to do that.
