Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe turned up at 9pm and were served quickly. We ordered the prawn croquettes, the steak to share and the gourmet coffee for dessert. All the food was cooked perfectly and the steak was excellent! We also had some lovely Sancerre to accompany the meal. The chef and waitresses that served us, Berenice, Gwendoline and Annick were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone just based on their service, let alone how great the food is.
Incredibly disappointed in this restaurant. Fabulous setting but the windows were filthy with enormous spiders on the outside off every one!! At what should be the height of the season we were on our own in the restaurant from 9.30 so absolutely no atmosphere. Food was mixed done was superb and others not. The risotto was made with long grain rice. The waitress was very pleasant but we had to ask for finger bowls and mayonnaise (which we were charged .30 for!! Mussels with saffron were great. Scallops undercooked, although duck cooked to perfection the fat was not crisped so just raw. This restaurant has so much potential but felt grubby and let down by simple things.
I had tried to get in to my favourite restaurant in Gravelines but they were closed for the summer. So as I had my boat in the Marina decided to have lunch at the Restaurant there. Feeling like a whole fish I ordered what was one of the most expensive items on the menu. It was overcooked and dried out and not at all pleasant. the service was poor but I was dining by myself and so of not much interest to the staff. I certainly would not eat here again and eat on my boat by preference if other restaurants in Gravelines were not available.
Stopped on way to channel tunnel and wished we hadn't. Things were going well at first, friendly helpful waitress, clean toilets and a willingness to accomadate veggies. Then I saw the maggot crawling though our goats cheese salad (shudder) unfortunately after a few mouthfuls. Mistakes happen even in the best resteraunts but we were not offered an apology, a free drink or anything resembling good customer service. We spent the journey home wondering if we were going to get ill! Not pleasent
A lovely restaurant, set in a lovely location of the marina based in Gravelines. Had not been before, though family we were with had a few years ago. Initially struggled with the menu (unfortunately our French is very poor!, however, with the help of Google Translate we got what we wanted. There is a varied menu with both a good range of fish and meat dishes the children's menu seems more basic than others we have eaten at thou this didn't faze my 8 year old who had a difficult choice in front of him (the three items on the menu were all tempting him!! . Our eldest (aged 10 has found a liking for Moules and the Moyen portion was large enough and in fact was unable to manage the portion of frites which the rest of the party were able to help with!! The staff were friendly and helpful and certainly the staff who served us had some English and with our basic French we were able to order in Franch and be understood
