The service was terrible! Waited over half hour for the food to arrive at our table. Was not explained probably how the taste card work in the restaurant even though I asked if it was accepted! After finishing the mains I would of liked to had desserts however this was not possible due to just being handed the bill without even asking for it! The drinks are refillable however no one asked if I would of liked it refilled! The food was nice however I would not be returning back to the restaurant due the service from the management and staff!
Usually I would buy this weekend the breakfast was awful. The bacon was like cardboard, really, really salty so much so that it affected us the rest of the day with feeling dehydrated. The cappuccino That I ordered came out was in a latte glass with a very milky coffee with chocolate syrup in it. When I queried This I was told this is how they serve their cappuccino. That it’s NOT a cappuccino. Even though the waitress offered to make it as a cappuccino should be I decided to go for a black coffee. Such a shame as Ed’s Is such a great place.
Food was cold and service a bit frosty too. Server wouldn’t let me use my Ed’s diner credit I had accrued over the years despite the old app not being replaced until the following day and so had to speak to a manager who did honour it but a little begrudgingly. There was a long wait for food to arrive for many of the customers that day. I would not recommend Ed’s and would not rush to go back either.
Had to wait 40 mins for hotdogs and burger. My chicken sandwich was like rubber. Wish I’d gone to gourmet burger!
