Abbeywood Tandoori - Greenwich

Called in on our way back to Abbey Wood campsite, a little early in the evening so very quiet but the service and food were second to none. We shared poppdoms, a mixed starter, peshwari chicken, chicken madras, pilau rice and a keema naan. All gorgeous, will definitely go when we're here next time.

We wanted to have a special meal for Mother's Day, so we chose this restaurant because it is very close to our home. My wife had already picked up a menu from them, so the three of us decided on our main dishes (Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Bhuna) and placed our order over the phone. Each dish was delicious and still hot when it arrived. The delivery was prompt and came with a personal touch. We will definitely order from them again. Give them a try, it's worth it.

Can’t fault it really, I live local and it’s nice to be able to walk to a decent Indian restaurant, it’s clean and efficient and the sag paneer is one of the best around. We often frequent this place and have missed it lots during the pandemic. Very friendly staff

Not the most appealing décor when you go in, but the owner is always very welcoming. Food is generally good, no complaints, and I also use this place for takeaways. Usually a complimentary drink after your meal. If you don't expect frills and fireworks, usually very good

Have just returned home from our visit. we were the only people there the manager told us that he have a cancellation but the person had switched to takeaway. the delivery driver was very busy and was in out all the time we were there. the manager handled the service. the food was very good and was hot there was enough. would certainly go again.
