He always makes his pizzas pretty, symmetrical, and delicious. I brought my girlfriend here and she loves it too. I come here whenever I am in this part of town.
Hey, if you want to support local independent business and you want to pick up a pizza on the way home, this is the place to do it. The pizza is good, a perfect thin-crust was given to me the first time I came here. The owner still has a hard time with English, but that's perfectly ok with me. You guys? Dump the chains. There is perfectly good pizza right here and you're supporting a family-owned business. I will be coming back. Thumbs up!
Ralphie's is one of my favorites for a quick slice or when ordering pizza for my team at work. Great pizza, a lovely owner, and a quiet atmosphere where I often find myself reading the newspaper well beyond my last bite of pizza. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates independently owned and run businesses, and is understanding that such places do sometimes have their quirks (but these are often the reasons I come back again and again).
Great local restaurant that you might not notice among the other businesses in the little strip mall at University and Orchard....but you'd be missing out on some great menu items. Slices available for lunch, along with a selection of other Italian favorites. Pizzas are crisp, and not overcooked. Also, their desserts are worthy of a pastry shop.
As someone who grew up in New Jersey, I can confidently say that Ralphie's Pizza deserves four stars for its pizza. However, the restaurant is hindered by the owners' apparent complacency. They seemed unaware of some important details: the windows are dirty, there’s no toilet paper in the bathroom, the napkin holders are smudged, and the tables and chairs are sticky. This is a common oversight among small business owners—they often neglect the little things. It can be quite off-putting to sit there waiting for your slices while trying to avoid touching the table. Despite this, the pizza itself is good—not amazing, but definitely satisfying enough that I would come back for more. It feels like a small family-run place, which may explain the poor delivery service and the challenges with online orders. Based on various reviews I've read, that seems to be their main struggle.
