Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis place used to be my favorite spot, where I used to live, study, and eat regularly. However, there has been a recent shift in their operations. They are frequently closed or close early without warning. Their Facebook page may state their closing time, but upon arrival, they have already shut down and turned off the lights hours before. The atmosphere has changed with the new management, the staff is not as friendly as before. I understand that adjustments may need to be made with new ownership, but it has become increasingly frustrating. It's important for a business to have consistent operating hours.
This is a fantastic spot to unwind and catch up with friends. The atmosphere is wonderful and the coffee is excellent. The sandwiches and salads are really good as well.
The Stomping Grounds is a popular restaurant on Main Street in Downtown Greer, known for their lunch and dinner options. While they are known for their variety of coffees, their sandwich menu is also worth trying. The atmosphere is laid back, making it a great place to work on a laptop or iPad, or simply relax with friends. Be sure to try the BLT sandwich, it is delicious. Finish off your meal with a piece of pie, a cookie, and a cup of coffee. We hope to see you there, but please note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
We stopped in before the Freedom Fireworks in Greer last Saturday for lunch. I got the chicken salad sandwich which was excellent, definitely getting it again.. My boyfriend got the Forrester fruit and nut salad which was outstanding. The hummingbird cake was just like Grandma used to make. We definitely will be going back.
Stopped with a friend who was new to the area and wanted coffee but wound up getting lunch. Sandwiches and sides were very good and freshly made. They were very accommodating for my friend who was vegan. People were friendly. Will return.
