Hats off to the 2 ladies cooking up that beatiful food. I for sure will be going back for the food ...... not the tall guy in the suit. Man a smile and eye contact goes long way. Hint hint
1/25/2019 Second time here and everything was fantastic again. Great prices at ten bucks per dinner dish, and four dollars for two samosas, made from scratch. Very friendly service both times. Hot food pretty quickly. Extremely flavorful with fresh herbs and spices. I'm so glad we tried this place. The restaurant front looks a little boring but it's the total opposite inside. Cool lights around the bar and fun India music videos on the tv. Lots of vegetarian options. Love this place!
As of 2019, the lunch buffet was priced at $10.99, and I found the food to be flavorful. While the selection wasn’t vast, it was what I expected for that price range. The health department regulations require them to keep meats and other rich dishes near boiling point for safety, so the food remained quite fresh. However, since I arrived during the last hour of lunch, around 1:30 pm, some items were slightly overcooked. The buffet is set to end at 2:30 pm. Throughout my meal, the owner personally refilled my water glass several times and promptly cleared away dirty dishes, keeping my table tidy. The atmosphere was quite calm; while I enjoy a bit of background noise, there were Hindi videos playing on a large screen, which added to the ambiance. The buffet offered a variety of dishes including lamb, chicken, and vegetarian options, perfectly cooked rice, along with classic bread and fried pastries. There were also multiple toppings and side dishes in this all-you-can-eat setting. I plan to return for lunch soon and look forward to trying more from their menu. The restaurant features a ballroom adorned with beautiful chandeliers and a full bar, making it an excellent venue for family events or corporate gatherings. With new owners at the helm and the previous, less favorable management now gone, I believe that if we all show our support for this restaurant, we can look forward to a wonderful winter for our community. Please tell your friends and help spread the word!
I found myself debating whether to give this restaurant a 4 or 5-star rating. I was genuinely surprised to discover such authentic cuisine in a location so removed from the usual ethnic spots. While the owner's management style feels somewhat inexperienced, it's clear that the kitchen staff must have learned from someone who truly knows their craft. The blend of spices in each dish transported me back to East 8th Street in NYC and reminded me of my time in Hyderabad. I recommend bringing a few friends along so you can sample a variety of dishes, including the Tandoori.
What a gem! My family and I absolutely love this place. The food is made from scratch, the staff is fantastic, and the prices are incredibly reasonable – plus, you get a free starter! They offer a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options, with over a page of choices. You simply must try the samosas – they’re outstanding! The staff truly treats everyone well and puts so much love into their dishes. This is definitely a must-visit restaurant, and I give it a 5/5!
