Friendly refreshment service, attractive and tasty dishes are served on pre-heated plates, cozy ambience in the heart of Gr.-Umstadt and good value for money, we are always very happy to come to the crown for food.

We visited last night and are very enthusiastic. Prices are higher than in the old town below the castle, but the claim of the kitchen is also on a completely different level. The appetizer was very refined and extremely rich. The second gear with pasta just fits in. My wife had the daily dish, a vegetarian lasagna with potatoes and pesto. Sounds irritating, but it was incredibly delicious. Kitchen can and must develop further, including the Italian. The crowning conclusion was at the end of the Italian cheese cake with cream ice cream incompatible creamy pimples and almond crunch. That was not exactly the same on the map, but it seems that the season was adjusted accordingly. I'm great. Everything in a great evening at an absolutely acceptable price.

Large ambience and very clean toilets with very good hygiene implementation (Covid). Great terrace at the foot of the Saarburg overlooking the valley, unfortunately we had no hunger and have only a drink, attentive service.
