The experience wasn't as much fun as last year (I guess we just had a phenomenal server), but it was still nice. I had a prime cheeseburger which was well-prepared and quite tasty, so made for a good experience. I love a good burger. I do miss their honey-buttered rolls and Sonara Chicken Pasta, which I used to eat, going back to the late 80s. That was their best entree. I suppose I need to make a few more trips and try other items to appreciate it all more. Still, a good time.
Lunch. Bacon cheeseburger with broccoli. Great . Added salad bar, excellent. Waitress was friendly. Restaurant is clean and kept up.
I drove into Grove City to be with family and go to the cheap advertised salad bar and chicken sandwich. We'd gotten the email about the slash in prices for the salad bar and a chicken sandwich. They have extreme problems with employees... They can't keep them. What's that telling you? Bad culture. Employees, the few that were visable, were so mean /angry /appearing unhappy and definitely didn't want to be there so they weren't nice. Not a single employee was kind or doing their job with any sense of visible joy and satisfaction. Staffing was pitiful and the restaurant was packed. The lady trying to keep the salad bar full was so rude and nasty when she physically ran into folks and never tried to communicate with any customer. Our server, there were four in my party, came and took the order in a pushy way. We'd just sat down and didn't have water yet. She never ever returned until she brought checks. The manager man didn't want to help but I made him stop and help us by getting mom's wine that she'd ordered and never gotten. He demonstrated he didn't have time or desire to help. Some woman came out of the back to deliver my sandwich and my sister's soup... A fiasco. I refused my sandwich as it was so over fried and hard. I wanted it gone and off my bill. She didn't say a single word. She wouldn't walk around the table to pick up dirty salad bar plates so I made her. How can this place stay open? I say shut and lock the doors and throw away the keys. A sign on front door says hiring all positions... I wouldn't want to be in this mess.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch because I had a coupon. Well, been there once, won't go back. Food was mediocre. Salad bar was fresh and well attended for 1:30 pm. Place is run down. We had to ask the hostess to wipe off a seat because it had food in it. There was food on the floor too. Someone set a tray stand next to the salad bar and a waitress or someone but a used plate on the salad bar right next to the clean plates. It was not a salad bar plate either. Carpet and seats very worn. The carpet is worn down the the treads in walkways. Service was just okay. Would not recommend. So many other better places to eat near by.
Best salad bar slider combo for under $10 in all Franklin County. Katie has it going on with the top notch customer service!!! I enjoy the laid back atmosphere and the high quality soft 90's jamz that brighten my day...
