Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónLast night was the third time in 6 months I have been to Cote in Guildford. I am vegan. Each time the vegan food has been excellent. The main course last night was Mushroom Bourguignon and the last time it was Cassoulet, both very tasty and decent portions. The staff and service were very good, professional, efficient and courteous. Despite being a restaurant chain Cote feels like an upper end restaurant experience. Also had a vegetarian and two meat eaters in our group and everyone loved the evening.
Whilst staying in Guildford I was attracted to this restaurant by the fish stew and I was not disappointed, it had everything I would expect in a brasserie in France, of which I have eaten in many. My husband had the Noël 3 course Christmas special and enjoyed the variety on offer. I did not have a starter but tasted bits of the starter my husband had. Because I was fairly full up after the fish stew I had the lighter Café Gourmand 3 miniature desserts with coffee, popular in France they were a perfect finish to the meal. There was a buzz in the smallish restaurant, something you take for granted in Europe but don’t always get in the UK. The staff were friendly helpful. I was so impressed that I have booked a table for 4 In Edinburgh, when I visit next week. I hope it’s as good as the Guildford Côte.
We recently visited as a group of 9 for our Christmas do and we’re so impressed! I’ve eaten at Cote plenty of times and the food is consistently brilliant but the staff at Guildford are wonderful! Was such an enjoyable evening thank you!
We are regular visitors to this branch and we received the most wonderful welcome and were obviously remembered. The ambience in the restaurant was amazing, busy and everyone having fun . We had a lovely Kir Royale as an aperitif and presented by Ersan , who we think is an incredible host and great representative for Cote , who clearly loves his job . Agi looked after our order with great friendly approach. We had crab starter always my favourite) and my husband had steak tartar. Main courses were incredible. My fillet steak melted in my mouth, delicious potato dauphinois and green beans . Sirloin equally lovely. Cote never disappoints, and the staff here are a credit to the company.
We had a rare opportunity for an evening out together and it was wonderful. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Flexibility I requested and got served a dark rum old fashioned. Delicious. No rush we were allowed to take our time and enjoy the experience. Great choices it was nice to have a menu from which it was hard to order. So much choice. Food a delicious steak, yummy pork belly and excellent cheese board. All good so far but the experience was made by the amazing staff. Natalia was superb. The perfect host: professional, warm, friendly and nothing was too much effort. Joshia was also excellent observed the slightest problem and was quick to resolve it. Thoroughly recommended!!
