Egg City Diner - Haines City

I absolutely loved this restaurant! We lived in the area for 17 years before moving away, and I wish we could have enjoyed it more. The food was delicious! My Greek omelet was outstanding, and my daughter’s strawberry pancakes were enormous and incredibly tasty. I really appreciate the retro style and the welcoming atmosphere, not to mention the super friendly staff. The signs in the restrooms made me laugh for days! If you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch, this place is a must-visit!

Cute 50’s Diner. The food was delicious and plentiful. I got the Strawberry filled French toast and my husband got the Western Omelette (omelettes are made with 4 eggs). Marilyn Monroe pictures and old records about the walls. Our waitress was good and kept our coffee/drinks full, but was very business.

Cool name and I loved the 50s style interior. Cosy place for breakfast or lunch. The staff was friendly. We must have come at the right time because we could sit right away. Perfect place to dine alone or with the family. Many seating options. When we went out, it looked like the place was filled up quickly. Many options in the menu. I definitely enjoyed the big pancakes and the environment. Perfect place to stop on the way to Legoland.

The restaurant features beautiful decor and a lovely selection of old-time music, and they offer good prices. My son ordered the Mickey Mouse pancakes with eggs, which were huge and delicious; he absolutely loved it. My wife had half an order of the biscuits and gravy, and she enjoyed it very much. I tried the steak and eggs, which were decent but not exceptional. It seems they cook without salt, allowing you to season to taste. I prefer my coffee strong, while my wife found hers to be a bit too mild for her liking. The service was satisfactory; I received a refill when I asked, but my wife did not. Overall, my wife was pleased with her meal and would like to return. The prices are reasonable, and the theme is beautiful.

This is a delightful spot for breakfast or lunch. The food is fresh and served quickly, and the service is excellent. It has a great 1950s vibe that adds to the charm. Open daily from 7 AM to 2 PM. I'll definitely be returning!
