I love this place . The food is always excellent and they have the best currie . I love the fresh spring rolls too. Excellent food for a good price.
This restaurant is popular with locals, or at least with the locals of whom I am aware - and for good reason. The food was absolutely delicious!
After an evening escapade to the theater, three couples, friends of ours decided to eat at this lovely restaurant.Upon entry in the restaurant, the bright yellow colors, as well as the chandeliers and lighting, created a very welcoming ambience. The servers, two delightful young women, greeted us very warmly and showed us to our table. Looking around, we noticed that everyone seem to have a smile on their face, and were enjoying the atmosphere. When we got the menus, we were absolutely flabbergasted. The amount of combinations of food were just about astronomical. I've never seen a menu with such creativity variety. We ordered a dinner for two combination which included a humungous tie salad with an exquisite ginger dressing, Pad Thai noodles, and A beef dish which was cooked with some ginger, little pieces of orange with the rind on; something that I never had before, and a delicious picture of vegetables. The presentation of the dish looked like a work of art or something that belonged in a photograph. The taste was even better than I expected! The food quality was so good that we vowed that we would return even before we finished our meal! With two of us together and and enough food to feed three people instead of two, the bill came to about $40. For the quality, presentation and hospitality of the servers, I would not hesitate to return, and found it to be a jewel of a restaurant in the city.
Luckily it was just up the street as we walked in the heavy spring rain. We arrived and were able to choose our own seat by the window. We ordered the mango salad that was delightful although possibly too much sugar. But good. I have never had mussman curry. But was delicious. Curry with a peanut sauce. My favourite Thai dish, Red curry, was average but still very good. Service is excellent.
