Charlies Cafe Steakhouse - Halsnaes

We had burgers and fries for a snack-dinner. Overall a nice burger, very tasty. Excellent sweet potato fries.

Went there the other for a friday night meal and once again it was a very good experience. My friend had one of the bigger steaks and I had the seafood of the day. Excellent prepared and served. Service remains very good and attentive and they also keep their wide selection of beer.

This town seems to have many places to each. We went for the Charlies cafe and was not disappointed. A waitress welcomed us and quickly gave us the menu card, which had a good selection of food for lunch. I had a smoked salmon sandwich, which tasted excellent, however the bread was a bit too crusty. With the food I had a regular coke, and after the meal we had coffee. The waitress was kind and helpful. Would consider coming back.

We were looking for somewhere to have a quick lunch in Frederiksværk and decided to follow a recommendation to eat at Charlie’s cafe. We are very pleased we did as the food and service was excellent and at a reasonable price. The steak sandwich was a good meal in itself and there was certainly no skimping on the steak. The omelette also was a very nice dish with a generous serving bacon to accompany a well cooked light omelette.
