Echomr Bakery trip, which I would also encourage other pastry lovers. I had two goose skins during the brunch (for me the cookies and Brioche were the biggest surprises). Also ordered an additional Eclair (for why not) and it could have been the most perfect mouthpiece at all. Enough to go back and see how good he can taste the Napoleon cake. Everything else was nice, but you could go for the pastries alone!
A pretty good afternoon tea in Oslo! It was great to celebrate Mother's Day here. Best Scones in Oslo! Delicious champagne and the interior is so beautiful! Good selection of desserts from Mendels. A really good service!!
National Day 17. May. A special treat, open sandwich with shrimp or smoked salmon or roasted beef delicious. Coffee with free refill. Creamcake. Really nice, but extra high prices for National Day). Just be prepared for Norwegian prices.
Great atmosphere, great service and good food (the afternoon sandwiches are good, but not spectacular). Pricey, but well done. Especially the Afternoon Tea is great, although it will give you more than 500 nok pr. person. Would recommend it even if the experience is worth it. You also have an ala-carte menu that has a selection of sandwiches and salads. If you happen to come here by car, you can only park the car at the entrance and pass the key at the reception, and the Valet service will park your car, and also pick up the car when you are finished. Very recommended!
The woman working the reservation line and seating guests at the restaurant was incredibly rude. There were open tables everywhere (for two people) and a line waiting to be seated. Perhaps reservations and such but seating two people when there are ten open two tops…I’m sure the food is great. The service was the worst I’ve had in Oslo/Norway.
