Mother's Pizza - Hamilton

Food was above and beyond and I loved the feeling in he restaurant (clean and good music). The bread and salad came upon request and we got about 3 of each. The meals took about an hour to come which would have been horrible if we didnt have the bread and salad to tie us over. Our server was great and he always checked up on us... just wish we got our food a bit sooner, other than that I will definitely return!!!

We were there during March break, I can say they do have great pizza , but the service is really slow.

As regular customers of mothers chain years ago thought we would try this one out now. Nothing at all like the old chain. No nostalgia but just another sports type restaurant. Quality of food I will say was quite good but very very expensive. My wife had the beef stroganoff and there was maybe 4 small pieces of beef buried under a ton of pasta!! I stuck with the pizza which was fine. In all disappointing visit to what used to be a real favourite of ours.

3rd visit here and all have been good. The family size greek salad is great value when paired with some large pizzas for a group. They also have free refills on sodas, and decent beer prices. The Canadian pizza is particularly good, as well as the Grandmother's. All 8 of us had a good time and enjoyed the food.

I went here when it first opened and it was a real tug to the memories. The most recent visit was not so great. Server was very friendly, but the food was lacking. Pizza was soggy, had to be eaten with a knife and fork! I've never had that at a Mother's before. The flavour was ok, but not enough to encourage a return. Too many other places that have good pizza. Nostalgia is not enough to encourage repeat business, so they will have to do better with the food to continue.
