We had reservations for the garden 33, but on reservation there was no special (limited) menu for Christmas Eve. We were in Diamond 's for the last two years on Christmas Eve and never met this. Our server, Gina P., was great, but the meal wasn't even moderate. The seasoned chicken was dry and looked like chicken wings blown up with much rosemary. We had 5:30 reservations and went at 7:30 and my husband didn't even get to complete the 7 course meal. Can't imagine they'll be around much longer....
The new garden 33 restaurant was very good and the food was excellent!! Good luck in the future!
Very bad service, food. was less than average. 7:30 reservation, did not arrive until 11. It just took too long, and the food was less than average.
We had reservations for 7:15 we waited for someone who acknowledged us. After about 7-10 minutes we sat. It wasn't full. We sat for 20 minutes before one of us asked who our waiter was. She finally came by. We then asked for a cocktail list that took too long to call what she needed. We ordered a martini and a glass of wine. After 15 minutes we have the Martini. I was told they didn't have the wine. Appears that the one responsible for storing the bar is inexperienced as they have only a few types of red wine and they are attached to a liquor store. I was brought a much lesser wine to try what then I asked for something else. After 45 minutes they found the first wine I ordered!!! The food wasn't too bad, but not something I'd go back for. The lamb frame lacked taste and was not cooked as I like it. Usually I would send it back, but because of the poor performance of the waiting staff I ate the finished pieces. I ordered vodka and club. They gave me Tonic instead. I personally went to the bar to complain based on how slow the drinks were made. Overall disappointed over the entire experience!
The food is fantastic. Brings back memories of the Burg when food was top notch.
