Whatever - Hanmer Springs

We had one night in Hanmer Springs and we feel so lucky that we chose this place. It's one of the first times in a long while that I've felt like the owner/waitor truly cares and gives his all to his customers. The food was incredible, the service was warm and friendly and overall it was a great experience. Keep doing what you're doing. Can strongly recommend the Salmon as a main and Creme brulee for dessert!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food; satay chicken very good, squid vejry over cooked (misr rubbery i have eaten), dumplings good (peas with black rice a bit wierd) rice balls over cooks incredibly dry.

I couldn’t wait to get home to write a review! This is my new favourite restaurant in Hanmer and I wish we had discovered it earlier! Between us we had the Aged Beef Fillet, Seafood Chowder, Crispy Calamari, kids nuggets and Cheerios and chips, the garlic bread, brownies and an ice cream sundae.. it was DELICIOUS! Literally couldn’t fault it! Especially the brownies wow! I don’t generally write reviews but I couldn’t resist, on top of the wonderful meal the staff were SO friendly and helpful, especially to our two wee girls. Thank you guys! We will definitely be back!!!

Eaten here a couple of times. Good service, but food is bland and mediocre. It's OK if there's nothing else that takes your fancy, but not great.
