Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI love this place. Everything is good, including potatoes. It's crazy to find so big Mexican foods so deep in Asia, but this place is all as good as the tacos I had in Mexico City. The margaritas are real and not made with any kind of syrup. You also have really good specials five and a happy hour after. If you are in the mood for Mexican food, this is the place!
Mexican food in Vietnam?! Yeah, I know. Let's go to the point. That could be the best Mexican food I ever had. This is definitely the best restaurant I was in Hanoi. Service was a little slow, but that's because they're making the tacos and burritos from scratch! Delicious! Let's also get this out of the way, I traveled twice for work to Mexico City (total of four weeks) and have relatively extensive Mexican food experience. Yes, I love Taco Bell, but I also have a taste for real Mexican food and Hanoi Taco Bar is one of the best if not THE BEST. Come here! Now.
If you need a break from Vietnamese food, this is a great option. I do think that the drinks need to be perfected a bit, as I've had much better cocktails in other places but their tequila selection is very good so to be safe, just go with some Tequila over the rocks with lime it'll be great! Prices were average, a bit expensive for Hanoi standards but great value. We ordered the Watermelon Mojito as well as the Ginger Lemongrass Margarita. Both were just ok. The proportions need to be measured a bit as you couldn't really make out the flavors. We also ordered the Taro nachos, pulled pork carnitas taco, the beef taco, and for dessert, the churros. They were all ok. Good but not great. The pulled pork lacked flavor but the beef that was slow cooked was awesome. The tacos themselves were ok. The churros were very crunchy and not the soft inside like I'm used to. I think they need to do something with the dough. The caramel sauce though was amazing and a perfect dipping sauce for churros. All in all a good place for Mexican thats not in the States, but of course could be way better. My advice, try the specials you won't be disappointed!
Good atmosphere and service is great tho!! Very friendly Not a good spot for vegetarians The food was lacking flavor and it was much more expensive than what it needed to be The guacamole is not good, missing salt and pepper If you want really good Tacos look up Hey Pelo Way better food, trust me, you’ll thank me
I came here with high expectations and remained satisfied. This is Vietnam so not expect authentic Mexican food. I ordered a beef burrito and it was pleasant. I had hoped it would be bigger, but it was an acceptable size and very dense. All ingredients seemed of good quality and although I think some Mexican spices were missing, I felt as if they had taken their food preparation seriously. I'd like to have a Queso or other cheese instead of Mozzarella. The salsa was fresh and seemed homemade and the guacamole was worthy. The best Burrito I had in Hanoi so far. The restaurant is also beautiful. I sat on the second floor balcony overlooking the tourists and sellers on bicycles below. 1 beef burrito with guacamole and margarita 285,000 vnd $12.28 *update 1/1/2020 I came back and had the tacos and they were excellent:
