Wow! Wing House - Hanover

Contemplated going here due to the bad reviews. Glad we went. A group of 9 was served and bills paid in 65 minutes. Wings were amazing, good amount of sauce, wings were still crispy on the outside and meat pulled off the bone! Definitely going back again!

So I'm quite conflicted on how to review our most recent experience here, so where I'll start is that if we had just gone for wings my rating would be a solid 5/5. Wings are their core business. My husband and I both had wings and felt they were excellent. I had pineapple curry and it was the best wing sauce I've ever eaten. They were crispy and fresh, meat came off the bone, and they were sauced really well. We would go back for wings anytime. That being said, our overall experience wasn't great. Service was good, and the one server working was trying really hard to take good care of everyone. But similar to many other/most other businesses right now, it is clear that they need more staff. We started with chicken nachos which were really good! Not too much of anything, good amount of sauces. Everyone ordered something a bit different my mom got a salad, my dad got pasta, and my grandma got a chicken burger. The wrong salad came for my mom, but the server was quick to fix it. My grandma enjoyed her chicken burger which came with a huge portion of fries. However, she had originally ordered a pizza and root beer, both of which were on the menu but not available. One quick piece of feedback would be to mark off/cross off things that aren't available on the menus instead of letting customers know after they've ordered. I also think the rating scale for wing sauce is unnecessarily confusing. My dad seemed to enjoy his pasta, but was disappointed in the limited options for beer. As I mentioned, my husband and I both really enjoyed our wings, but I had also ordered battered mushrooms which never came. Lots of highs and a couple of fixable lows. Would go back as we really enjoyed our wings and that's what they're known for.

Amazing wings! Perfectly crispy, perfectly sauced! People complaining over what the staff are wearing in other reviews puleeeaassssee ???? give me a break its 2022! We ordered take out but husband picked them up and said restaurant was super cool inside and we look forward to visiting again and eating in! Soooo good!!
