You get tikka and indian style kebabs almost everywhere but there all smothered with excess colour spices etc. Tikka corner is nit like that. One of the best tikkas and kebabs you will ever have. A very small eatery, but makes the best and juiciest chicken tikka, tangri kebab and chicken seekh kebab. Im a regular and would highly recommend. The chicken seekh is so juicy. They do serve haleem and thats great too.what makes this place amazing is that its lightly spiced and grilled to perfection. No burning no colour. Golden baked or grilled chicken tikkas and tangris and fresh baked tandoori roti. The karahi chicken is awesome as well. Do try this joint.
Would rate 4.5 just for the chicken tikka and naan combo they have to serve!<br/ Anything that is coming off their barbecue is awesome. Flavor is just right and cooked well in charcoal.<br/ <br/ Just ask the cook behind the reception/ order table to cook it well, else they may leave it slightly uncooked if they are busy!<br/ <br/ The salads served are good and goes really well with the food.<br/ <br/ Been there heaps of times and would go again for sure.<br/ <br/ One of the better places within Harris park for good food.<br/ <br/ And yes, I agree with some reviews its not a restaurant.. not a fine dining place.. just a good joint with some decent food options!<br/ <br/ CHEERS!!
This is not fine dining , not even a decent restaurant rather think of it as a small dhaba that has an expertise in kebabs.<br/ Do not go here if you are expecting customer service or ambience.<br/ <br/ But if you want charcoal grilled kebabs that have taste, flavour and aroma, this is the place in Sydney. This is by far I have been the closest to excellent Kebabs since Amritsar.<br/ I am rating it 4.5 out of 5 just because of the awesome taste and corresponding prices. They are not charging restaurant prices, and hence it isn't one.<br/ Food is AWESOME !
First time hands on Pakistani cuisine! It was most likely indian style and influenced more by middle east! Finally tasted the neighbor delicacy in Aussie land.Chicken Pilau(Pulao) it is not a Biriyani!! Chicken cooked with rice and little spices but it was good on taste budsChicken Tangri it was the same Tangri Kebab which was less spicy!
In Short : North Indian cuisine, tandoor fired meats bursting with flavour, delicious breads, open late. <br/ <br/ What I love about Sydney is the spread of ethnic communities around the basin. In Harris Park there are a cluster of Indian restaurants which have transformed the once sleepy cousin to Parramatta into a vibrant hub of activity of a weekend. It’s amazing to see the Indian community in their colourful saris and shalwar kameez walking the streets in search of a restaurant to while away their afternoon. One of those places that gets a fair bit of traffic is Tikka Corner. It’s basically a hole in the wall outfit with a few tables for diners. While unassuming outwardly, it’s what comes out of the tandoor that really counts.
