Doesn’t look much from the outside but inside is calm light and plenty of space and super clean. Goats cheese tart and dressed salad perfect !!
Amazing breakfast in the beautiful courtyard. Felt like we were on holiday! Lovely atmosphere and good choice on the menu.
Always first class food and a warm, friendly welcome at The Dining Room. A range of lovely food for breakfast, lunch or snack but my favourite is the full English when they do it or the bacon and egg bap with hash browns which are simply gorgeous A definite cafe to put on the list
We went to The Dining Room on Saturday for a Birthday lunch. It was a wonderful lunch. The staff were friendly and attentive. We didn't feel rushed and this was gratefully received as we were chatting lots abd taking our time with the menu. Lots of lovely hot food choices, not sure regarding the previous review.... We had burger with fries, quiche and salad, scampi and fries and sausages with mash. There were additional choices we were also tempted in having....salmon fish chip or baked goats cheese. We all had different puddings too which were equally as delicious. Also must mention the freshly made bread that we were given to start with, yum yum.
A super little place where we have enjoyed coffee and cake or a sandwich many times. On this visit we had lunch and it was somewhat disappointing and very expensive. It is a cafe not a restaurant and £8.95 for soup is the most expensive I have ever seen. The turkey sandwich was pushing £13 and was bland and fries almost £4. Hot offering was just scampi and burger. Would certainly return but not for lunch when hungry.
