I waited at the ordering screen for 7 minutes without anyone taking my order, even though employees were outside in the parking lot and clearly aware of my presence. I drove around to the pickup window, and even though the staff noticed me, nobody came to assist. I observed several employees playing around and throwing things at each other instead of attending to customers. To make matters worse, a woman who seemed to be the manager saw the situation but did nothing to help. It's truly frustrating. I've always received prompt and excellent service during lunchtime, but every time I visit at night, the service is incredibly slow—unbelievably slow. While my family and I enjoy our lunches there, the nighttime experience is unacceptable!
The quality of service really varies depending on the time of day and the manager on duty.
This has got to be the worst Burger King in existence. I went to this BK location near Jeff Rd and ordered a double stack king. To eat into it only to find out the burger was still raw. Not only that but I had my wife call them to tell them of this disaster and they informed her that I would need to return the next day with my burger and receipt. It's 10:30 PM Forget that, I live in Ardmore. You make a mistake, you need to fix it. If I get sick from this, I will sue. Please do not visit this Burger King!
The staff at this particular store are very friendly. They're kind and generous. I think the problem is in the training and employee support. The responsibility for issues in these categories lies solely in the hands of management. I believe if the employees had positive support, a greater understanding of what's expected and how to meet these expectations, and an understanding to what lengths they may go in order to satisfy a guests requests, this restaurant would far exceed all sales projections. I know this because I have more than 25 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry specializing in the hiring, training and supervision of restaurant/catering staff. Burger King of Harvest, get back in the game by teaching your employees how to play the customer service and satisfaction game. You're better than this.
Make no mistake, you know what you're getting at places like BK and McDonald's. Unfortunately this location is markedly worse than your standard Burger King. I have been here 5 times over the past year and haven't had a single instance of at least getting some of the basics of fast food: quick service, fresh or hot food, and/or at the very least.... decent taste. Now I don't expect the world, but where to begin. Their drive through is the slowest I've ever seen and the counter service isn't much better. When you finally get your food it doesn't taste fresh or even remotely good. On 3/5 trips my chicken sandwiches or burgers have been cold in the middle. On the most recent trip the cheesy bacon chicken sandwiches I ordered we're barely warm and tasted as though they were aged for 5 years. They also gave me a drink lid that was cut and not properly secured so when I stopped my drink spilled all over my car. I hope it was a prank. Their only redeeming quality is that their employees are kind but even then... None seem too enthusiastic about the place. I give it 1 stars for the miracle existing, but other than that... it seems to be severely mismanaged
