Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI 've been meaning to visit this establishment for almost 2 years but never seem to get the time or remember to do it. Today I was driving by and thought this would be a great time to pay this establishment a visit and see exactly what it is compared to real casinos. I wish I could give it a stellar review unfortunately I really didn 't even get past the front door. this building used to be a Kmart many years ago and is seen more than a decade of no use before they open up Rosie 's gaming. this facility is also right past the Chippenham parkway overpass and the beginning of Richmond city limits. it 's also where the ghetto officially starts in the side of Richmond. And clearly they decided to give back to the City by hiring at least 2 of the local residents. I walk in and immediately in front of me was a small kiosk and immediately to the left about 12 feet was a metal detector check in. there seem to be a security guard milling about 15 feet away from the kiosk but the metal detector checkpoint was being staffed by an employee. since it was my first time at this establishment and I didn 't see any sign saying that I had to wait at the little podium where no one was I proceeded to walk towards the metal detector checkpoint. after taking about two steps the lady stopped me and said sir you have to go back and talk to him as she pointed to the unmanned podium that I just left bypassed. So I turn around and see the security guard that was milling around walk up to the podium. So I immediately walked over to him he looks at me turns his head to the side and starts laughing. Now I can take a good humored joke and laugh at myself often. So I apologize to the man and I said Sorry, first time here, I wasn 't aware of your entering procedure. Then he turned his head towards the employee at the metal detector check-in snickered more and so did she. So I asked What 's so funny ? He proceed to turn his head and laugh and snicker again, with his Co worker in unison. by this point I realized it wasn 't a good-natured joke this was just a man being a totally rude employee.,along with his sidekick. I had enough at this point. So I said, Sir,if I 'm not welcome in this establishment,I 'll just leave . He replied by saying I don 't have anything to do with you leaving . Ironic, that since he was the keeper he had the authority to permit or deny entry, and if he didnt then why would I need to speak with him all. Such logic clearly was lost on him when I said that. So at that point I said Sir, I came here to patronize this establishment, not to be mocked by its employees. And then I walked out.
Wife and I took our mother today. The customer service was incredible! Tanya at the Bar was amazing! The staff in the food court was on point! Their burger is definitely better than theirs ! The cleaning crew was badass as well. The place is spotless!!! Keep up the great job Rosie 's crew!
Rosie’s is a fun place! Pam at the bar is my favorite person to see there as she’s always so friendly and has heart of gold! The food is good and the games are changing regularly so keeps it interesting! They are good at keeping me coming back for more with their rewards program and giveaways! Favorite place to wind down! Recommend they cut out people not playing and also “reserving” machines by putting a coat on it to ensure all get to play. This is only issue I have found.would absolutely recommend! Try it!
I have been several times and never come out ahead. I normally have pretty decent luck at all other casinos, but here, nope.
My husband and I visit the Richmond Rosie's quite often. Staff is always friendly and if we get food have never been disappointed. However, recently we have noticed a decreased chance of winning any amount to take away, but enough to enjoy some time out. It is discouraging though to see people at machines getting free spins over and over and over and you sit there and not hit a thing. But guess that's the luck of the draw. I recently told my husband, we need to go not expecting to win but to just enjoy a time out together. No expectation, then no disappointment.
