The gang was finally supposed to gather for Christmas dinner again after almost two years of the pandemic. Tapas for 10 were ordered, three of them with allergy adaptations (gluten and lactose). The food arrives 15 minutes late, and it goes perfectly well. What is not good is the way the food is delivered. The person delivering is very stressed due to several deliveries with allergies in them, and says; “one delivery is worse than the other. Gluten, lactose, food from the sea. What 's wrong with you/everyone at the moment?! I have no idea if it has turned out correctly, but you can let me know if there is anything wrong. We are completely shocked by what we hear and I, as the one with celiac disease, say after her; I have celiac disease and it 's not something I asked for. At the next reading with food, several of the comments are repeated that there is so much to manage with allergies and that it is difficult to prepare, and that she can only hope that it has been done correctly. This puts an incredibly large damper on the dining experience as we do not feel confident about whether our food is prepared safely for us. Ingesting gluten, regardless of quantity, has enormous consequences. The intestine takes enormous damage and many (both of us) are bedridden with cramps and vomiting for many days. Not being sure of the outcome after enjoying yourself at Christmas doesn 't feel right. We made sure not to eat things we were unsure about, despite the fact that our own gluten- and lactose-free plates had been prepared, and luckily it went well. On feedback afterwards, we also do not experience being taken seriously as the company goes on the defensive instead of taking the situation to heart. This is a great shame, and they lost a customer today. Everyone can be stressed and everyone can have their opinions. But expressing one 's opinions out loud in this way and by portraying the delivery as most likely correct becomes unprofessional. If allergies are too much to manage, let 's make arrangements for it. Have fewer customers, but control. Those of us who have allergies need providers to have control, especially for us, and you didn 't show that here. Take the feedback to heart and learn from it for the future.
We ordered catering with pork chops and pork ribs. food arrived 40 minutes before the agreed time and was therefore cold when it was served. the loop on the pork was gumy, it could not have been crispy when it came out of the many. very disappointing experience.
