L'escale Restaurant - Hawkesbury

Today we went for a dinner with my husband hoping to enjoy the rare evening together. Unfortunately, it did not happen.After waiting almost for an hour, I got spoiled fish, and it looked that kitchen knew about it because it was also overcooked. It was very dry. Also, chef’s salad had some molded lettuce in it.Overall, I was very disappointed by the food, although server lady was very nice and friendly.

I can't say enough about this place! A group of us meet up every Wednesday for dinner and it's amazing. The service is second to none and the food is always cooked to perfection. I HIGHLY recommend... well, pretty much everything, but especially the pizza, fish n chips, club sandwich, burgers, fries, and so much more!

This place was the nicest discovery in Hawkbury, view of the Ottawa River and food and service was great.

Since after COVID this restaurant has really gone down hill. The lobster tails were the size of a shrimp and the vegetables weren’t even cooked. The had no Filet Minot but was on the menu. And the full rack of ribs was kid size. Very disappointed again even other tables we spoke to were very disappointed. And no substitutes for anything and the waitress didn’t know anything on the menu when we asked.Parking: It’s fine
