Cafe Su:m - Haymarket

This cafe has a very neat and cozy layout and interior. Their overall menu is decently priced and is affordable. My group always orders various bingsoo desserts each time we visit for a snack or catchup. The coffee here is average and the cakes are not bad. Service is quick and we always get a table. (￣▽￣)ノ

My favourite place to get some bingsu during these hot summer day. Really impressive by far with all the dessert but not so much on the drink menu. Their bingsu was very diverse with all different flavour. My favourite would be tiramisu bingsu with little kick of cocoa powder. Overall an amazing cafe that i would definately recommend to try.

Once bough two cakes from this place that had already gone bad (cake turned sour). Went back to the place and waiter told me it's just the way it is - Oreo cake. Sour. Really? Wouldn't offer me a refund, so I just picked another cake and it went straight in the bin.

Decided to have cake and drinks at Cafe Su:m as it was close to our dinner venue and could accommodate our group (ie. it was empty). We ordered the green tea mousse cake, the green tea cream cake and the sweet potato cake. The sweet potato cake was undoubtedly the best of the three as you could taste the sweet potato in the soft layers of cake that were sandwiched with cream. Unfortunately the other cakes were overwhelmed by thick, dense layers of fake-tasting cream. They remained untouched after the first few mouthfuls. Coffee wasn't good and green tea latte was a sugary powder mix.

My group of friends and I love this small cafe as a place to go to after dinner just to order something small and to chat for ages.  It's usually quiet during certain times of the day which is good for catching up with friends. Not the best cafe for serious study unless you're fine with music playing or you have headphones in. There is a variety of food and drinks, but I've only had the Green Tea Latte, which was alright.  The staff are quite friendly. I have bought some birthday cakes here and they're pretty nice!
