Lumberjack Steakhouse Lodge - Hayward

I went to the Thanksgiving buffet and was quite disappointed. I was expecting more than just reheated, store-bought food. I've been there before and ordered from the menu, so I assumed the buffet would feature homemade dishes. I wouldn't recommend going for the buffet experience. The service was excellent; however, they had a hard time keeping the buffet items replenished. The prime rib was exceptional, but it was the only standout item from the entire selection.

Every now and then, you have to treat yourself! The prime rib and New York strip were absolutely stunning—truly what my taste buds were craving! The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. It made for a wonderful date night for us. Thank you!

If you're looking for a wedding venue in the Hayward area, The Steakhouse is the perfect choice! I recently held my wedding reception here, and I can't express enough how fantastic this place is. Peggy and her team ensured everything went incredibly smoothly, the food was excellent, and the hotel rooms attached to The Steakhouse were incredibly convenient for us, our wedding party, and our parents. I will definitely recommend this venue time and time again for a night out or any formal event!

We waited 15 mins for our sodas and we went to the bar to get them. I order a cocktail, never was asked if I wanted another one. The wait staff was very cold and short. Asked for mashed potatoes and my steak be medium well. It came out very pink and theygave me a baked potato and told me I didn't need to eat it and they are out of mashed potatoes. Our server didn't come to see ifour dinner was ok. The restaurant wasn't busy when we came in at 7:15. We didn't get our food till 8:40

Fantastic food! We stopped here on our way through town, and it did not disappoint! Great service that was fast, and the food was so good! Specifically, the croutons on the salad had more taste than any other and I loved it!
