Their candy was good but I later noticed on my receipt that they charged a 3.99% credit card fee. If there is a sign about that, it wasn't very visible. This kind of thing is a pet peeve of mine. If I wanted to pay an additional amount, I should have had that choice.
I'm not sure how their fudge is since I purchased their candy and caramel apples. These are by far the best apples I've ever had. The caramel was simply creamy and delicious. The candy apple wasn't too sweet or too hard to eat. I will most definitely be stopping in again on our next trip through Helen. Just might have to try their fudge then too.
We tried both fudge shops on this block. THIS ONE IS BETTER. Fudge was very creamy. 100x better than the fudge at Hansel Gretel! Caramel better too. The caramel apple at Hansel and gretel was all texture, no taste.
A good standard fudge spot. We ended up getting some chocolate from the Dutch shop and after eating that, this fudge tastes like pure artificial sugar. The peanut butter chocolate was our favorite to balance out the sweetness a little bit. The plain chocolate, usually a favorite, was a bit too sweet but still pretty good. The worst one we had was the cookies and cream--the flavor was unbearably sweet, you couldn't really taste the cookies, and the texture was gummy and tacky. They have some delicious treats, just need to choose carefully and expect a lot of sugar!
