The ambiance was one that made you want to return, with jazz music playing in the background and delicious food.
Everything was phenomenal! Blaze was sweet and helpful, excellent customer service. The crab dip was life changing!
The beverage manager here is phenomenal!! He maintains an amazing collection of top shelf bourbons!! He hosts bourbon nights so be sure to check the events list on the website or just reach out and meet him. Parking was simple and easy. It was a busy night but there was ample parking and we were just a short walk to the front door. We started the evening and finished the evening with a tremendous pour of Rare Hare Heigold. It was a new one for our party but it didn’t disappoint. It drank much smoother and cooler than its 110 proof. For an appetizer, we just ordered one as we knew we had rolls in our future. We ordered the crispy oysters. They were tasty with a nice hoisin barbecue sauce. Next onto the rolls. The first three that we had were Mr Miyagi, Poinsettia, and the Baku roll. Consensus was that they were all fantastic but the lead horse was the Baku roll. We ordered 2 more. Again with the Poinsettia for the old faithful and the Red Salt signature roll. One in our party ordered the 14 oz strip Au Poivre style. Perfect finish to the meal. We only had room left for 2 oz of the Rare Hare. I am certain that the desserts here are phenomenal as is every thing else. I look forward to a return trip and saving some room for one. This place is a winner located in Short Pump. Parking: The restaurant is situated in a town square type setting with multiple parking lots.
Our server, Ray, was awesome. Friendly, attentive, and since we were there to celebrate a birthday, she did a perfect job of making sure we were covered with the surprise dessert.
