Glass of Jack Rabbit Malbec with the beef, delicious too. Visited again the next evening with 2 friends and again very nice meals, we had garlic mushrooms to share, yummy, a curry, steak, gammon and ham dishes, followed by desserts, all delicious. Henry our waiter was being trained and we were teasing him and he was brilliant, lovely genuine young man, he looked after us very well and will be an asset. Thanks guys will return.
This was a great find!! Beautiful views across the river Wye with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is not extensive but it is done well. The cod+chips was fantastic!!! The batter was really crispy and not greasy, and the chips..... crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And Helen looked after us really well very friendly and chatty. A Monday lunchtime very quiet.
Really nice staff, very helpful. You can eat inside and outside, food is good. Our friends said there burgers were good, one had the Thai curry which was OK. A few choice of drinks. Nice to have this on a site, saves you driving out.
Such a lovely place looking over river ..def highly recommended
Welcoming atmosphere, staff and great food. We booked a table for 13 of us and were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious, chicken goujons, ham, egg and chips, Thai curry, scampi and chips and burgers were all a hit. The puddings were delicious and the drinks went down very well. Thank you for a lovely evening.
